When someone says they live in Magnolia, they may mean rural Magnolia, which runs from The Woodlands… south to Tomball… west to Waller County… and north to above of the City of Magnolia.

The City of Magnolia is less 3 square miles with a population of around 1,300, though Greater Magnolia spans around 12 miles in all directions. Communities also considered part of Magnolia include Decker Prairie, Stagecoach and parts of The Woodlands.

Both the City of Magnolia and rural Magnolia reflect the friendliness of a small community with nearby access to Houston, Conroe and The Woodlands.

Quality of life and family values are shared in the community that radiate a safe place to start a family and raise children.

Homes include conventional subdivisions, farm and ranch living, or custom designed homes on acreage. Recreation opportunities for golfers, equestrians, nature lovers and cyclist are nearby.

Texas Renaissance Festival

Each October, Magnolia welcomes visitors to the Texas Renaissance Festival, which takes place over seven weekends.

Throughout the years, Magnolia has transformed from a railroad town and agriculture community to a bedroom community, where residents might work in nearby cities but live, pay taxes and spend most of their income in their city. With the widening of highway FM 1488 and FM 1774 and new Aggie Expressway, Magnolia will continue to see change, while maintaining the traditional American values and down-home, small town charm.
